Emery Harlow Devery

completed our family.

 It was a fairly smooth delivery although the spinal was a bit much for me this time around. The first 24 hours after surgery I was a bit (well completely) out of it. Luckily my family and friends that visited knew I had tons of medications in my system or they would have probably thought I was trashed (totally made a fool of myself ;] ). Kyle was there throughout my surgery holding my hand<3 and Emery was born with a full head of hair and some strong lungs! Luckily she only uses them when she needs to. 

 Dahlia LOVES her new baby sister, and helps out as much as she can. She brings us blankets, bottles, and has taken to carrying around her baby dolls and caring for them as well.  Dahlia also loves holding "her baby" ;] but we help her with that.

 Things are settling back in, though we'll need a little more time to get the hang of two little ones. Kyle had his first day back at UoH and has a fairly manageable semester ahead, thank goodness because he always has such a booked schedule during the school year. I start back to work in October, which means the girls start school too! Dahlia will go to class Wednesday next week so I'll be sure to post her First Day photos :)  Though she won't be back full time until I start again. Not much else has happened since Emery was born and we've just been getting in the swing of things! So I'll end this post with a couple photos :)
