oh hey

 The year has gone by so fast while dragging on at the same time, and so much has changed but still feels familiar. Sometimes I can't tell if that feels good or not, since often we live for changes. Everyday there's a new goal or change that needs to be made. More often than not mine get lost while I go through the motions. I think this year my New Year's resolution will be to connect more with the people around me, really listen to people and learn about them. 
 On the material side of the holidays my babies really racked up this year, SO MUCH PRINCESS STUFF haha we had to do some major cleaning out of their closets and toy boxes. Dahlia got the big item on her wish list, a tricycle (luckily with black friday it was only $25!) & Emery got her minnie mouse vacuum cleaner that she is totally in love with. Kyle surprised me with a gorgeous ring from Zales, I was definitely not expecting it & he gave me a pro make up brush set! Lucky for him I know what he likes to, so he got a basket of treats from Japan & the Nintendo 2DS along with Pokemon X from my parents. All in all it was a great giving day. Spending time with both of our families was probably the best part, watching We are the Millers with my parents was awesome. & seeing Kyle's mom & sister for the first time in forever was really nice. Hopefully Kyle's birthday will prove a success next week as well.
