Where do I put you now?

Things have been upside down and backwards as of late. A lot of loss not much gain, more giving than getting I suppose.

If you love someone, sometimes that means letting them go. It hurts when you know they aren't coming back, and the reasons don't give you any comfort. You've just lost your footing and no one is there to catch you anymore.

Eventually it will get better. But where do I put you for now? If you can't be in my heart anymore, but it hurts when you're in my head, where do you go?

I have to wonder if you were ever really with me to begin with.
